Music Festival is over and all our eleven entries were amazing. Classes from K-3 were entered as well as the Primary Choir, the Girls Choir, and the Boys Choir. I am so proud of their accomplisments not only in their performances but at how well they represented our school's character traits. Our grade3 French Immersion classes and the Girls Choir were presented awards at the Stars of the Festival Concert ( Girl's Choir opened the concert) and the Girls Choir were invited to compete at Provincials. Due to grade siz band testing being the same day we were unable to attend.
The Girls Choir and the Boys Choir performed at a fund raising concert on June 6th. This concert was a project developed by several TOSH students for their Leadership class. It was to raise funds for our music program. These students did an outstanding job. They sold tickets, had a bake sale, silent auction and 50/50 draw. They had an amazing line-up of TOSH talent performing too. A big Elm Street thank-you goes out to them and all their hard work. Thanks so much.
